Course Projects

Solar Collector (MECH 2502)

This was a group project where our team had to create a solar collector. My tasks for this project included fully assembling the solar collector and also creating the LabView program that it ran on. I helped with getting the sensors and actuators running as well.

Wind Turbine Drive Train (MECH 3409)

This was a group project where the team had to create a plan for a fully functional wind turbine drive train. I was in charge of completing all of the calculations involving the shafts. This involved using formulas in Excel and strong communication with my teammates to make sure our work was accurate.

Remote-Controlled Car (MECH 2112)

This was a group project where the group had to create an RC car that had a working gear transmission and used Arduino for controlling the motor via a remote. I was in charge of designing the gearbox and also creating the 3D model of the car. I also had to do stress analysis on the car using SolidWorks software.
